Ibn-Kathir. 23. And if you (Arab pagans, Jews, and Christians) are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down (i.e. the Qur’an) to Our servant (Muhammad ), then produce a Surah (chapter) of the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers) besides Allah, if you are truthful.
English Translation. Here you can read various translations of verse 11. Sahih International. And when it is said to them, “Do not cause corruption on the earth,” they say, “We are but reformers.”. Yusuf Ali. “When it is said to them: “Make not mischief on the earth,” they say: “Why, we only Want to make peace!”. Abul Ala Maududi.
These are tokens emblematic indeed of Allahs Omnipotence and Authority that are observed by people who ponder. (30:21) And of His Signs is that He has created mates for you from your own kind *28 that you may find peace in them *29 and He has set between you love and mercy. *30 Surely there are Signs in this for those who reflect.

Allah said, "And remember My favor on you when I sent down the manna and quails to you, a good, pure, beneficial, easily acquired food. And remember your ungratefulness for what We granted you. Remember how you asked Musa to exchange this type of food for an inferior type that consists of vegetation, and so forth.''.
